ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Paul Joshu, and my life's journey has been marked by various challenges and triumphs. After growing up in rural Illinois, just across the river from St. Louis, Missouri, I faced the realization that attending college might not be feasible for me. Nonetheless, I was determined to achieve something significant in life, and I saw the military as my path to accomplishing that goal. With the aspiration to join the finest branch, I embarked on a life-changing journey when I boarded my first-ever plane to San Diego, California, in October 1999, to join the United States Marine Corps.
However, tragedy struck when a training accident on October 20, 2001, led to my medical retirement, dramatically altering the course of my life. The injuries I sustained during this incident resulted in a traumatic brain injury (TBI) that left me unable to read, write, or function as the person I had always envisioned. As a married man expecting our first child, this setback shattered my sense of purpose and thrust me into an arduous search for meaning amid immense pain.
Iād love to help you find your new path. See how you can work with me to discover how to live with light.
